Simple Flash Instructions

  1. Download the .img firmware file using the link above
  2. Click the file selector and choose your .img file
  3. Connect your ESP32-S3 device via USB (HOLD DOWN THE BOOT BUTTON WHEN DOING SO)
  4. Click "Flash BadgeNET Firmware" and select your device
  5. Wait for flashing to complete
  6. Done! Your device will reboot automatically

If flashing fails, hold BOOT button while pressing RESET, then try again.

If you prefer a more manual method try esptool.py --port /dev/ttyACM0 --baud 1500000 write_flash --compress -z 0 firmware/ESP32_GENERIC_S3-FLASH_4M-20250415-v1.25.0.bin
